The Winemaker
Kissime Bay is made by Ant Moore, one of Marlborough's most respected winemakers, from a single vineyard of around 60 hectares set in the valleys at the tip of New Zealand's South Island — the very heart of Sauvignon Blanc country.
With fruit of this quality, the winemaking is deliberately gentle. Sustainably farmed grapes are softly pressed and the juice cold-settled before fermentation in stainless-steel tanks — minimal intervention that preserves every one of the wine's finer aromatics. Real craft in the glass, an honest price in your hand.

The Wine
Clear, bright pale gold. It opens with citrus — predominantly mandarin — lifted by delicate white flower. Fruit-forward on the palate: grapefruit and white peach, beautifully balanced by a textural acidity, finishing clean and refreshing.
The Region
Marlborough sits at the tip of New Zealand's South Island — the most celebrated home of Sauvignon Blanc on earth. A maritime climate of hot days and cool nights holds acidity high through a long, slow ripening, giving the fruit its piercing intensity and unmistakable varietal expression. Stony, sandy soils keep the wines balanced and bright, with the tropical lift — lime, passionfruit, guava and honeydew — that made the region famous. Kissime Bay is Marlborough in a glass.
